Due to increased enrollment and a delay in a housing project, Fort Hays State University has partnered with Motel 6 to provide overflow housing for returning students.
Freshmen are required to live in residence halls, and so the university has decided to use Motel 6 for upperclassmen, who were planning to return to the residence halls. A shuttle service will be provided, and the meal plans will remain in place.
Two new residence facilities are scheduled to open on campus in the fall of 2012 and 2013.
