104 players greeted head coach Chris Brown as the Fort Hays State football team held their first practice Thursday morning at Lewis Field. It was Brown’s first practice as a college head coach after spending the last nine seasons as Washburn’s defensive coordinator.
The Tigers will don full pads for the first time Monday then have their first two-a-day workout Tuesday. They open the season at home September 1st against Emporia State.
