Bryan will be coming home on Wednesday, August 17th at 2:15 p.m. at the Hays Regional Airport. The Hays VFW Post 9076 is organizing a silent tribute to Chief Warrant Officer-2 Bryan Nichols with people waving the American flag, lining the route from the airport to Hays Memorial Chapel, 1906 Pine Street. The route will be traveling Highway 40 to Vine Street, then north on Vine Street to 20th Street, and finally west to the funeral home.
Flags can be picked up at the following locations in Hays: VFW-22nd & Vine St., American Legion-13th & Canterbury, James Motor Company-13th & Main St. and the Army Recruiting Office-4333 Vine St. (by Wal-Mart).
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Al Billinger Fieldhouse on the TMP-Marian campus and from 9:00-9:30 a.m. Friday at Hays Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
A parish vigil service will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the fieldhouse.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Al Billinger Fieldhouse, TMP-Marian campus. Burial with military honors will be in Pleasantview Cemetery in Palco, Kansas.
