The Rural Energy for America Program has awarded over $180,000 in grants to help Kansas small businesses and agricultural producers with energy efficiency projects. Patty Clark is the state director for the USDA Office of Rural Development. She says grants are helping producers to convert diesel or natural gas irrigation systems to electricity.
