The Hays High boys cross country team won their third meet of the season, scoring 49 points in McPherson Thursday and winning by 13 points over the host school.

Derek Drees led the Indians with a third place finish (18:07). He was one of four Indians in the top-ten. Joshua Brungardt came in sixth (18:27), Dallas Kaiser eighth (18:45) and Landon Munsch ninth (18:47).

The Hays High girls finished third behind Buhler and Salina South. They placed two in the top-ten led by April Johnson who was fifth (17:21) and Summer Smith who came in ninth (17:41).
