The Hays High volleyball team split their two matches at the Hoisington triangular Thursday. The Indians dropped their opener to the host Cardinals in two (19-25, 19-25) but came back to beat Nickerson in two (-11, -10).

Millie Copper led the Indians with three kills against Hoisington with Sidney Schmeidler adding eight assists. Katelyn Schumacher had six kills and Sidney Schmiedler added nine assists against Nickerson.

The Indians are now 10-5 on the season.
