The Fort Hays State women’s golf team is tied for 17th after the first day of the Central Oklahoma Classic.

The Tigers shot a 316 and are 34 shots behind leader Northeastern (Okla.) State.

Jordan Nixon had the low round for the Tigers with a 5-over-par 75 and is tied for 23rd.
