High pressure will remain across the western plains on Thursday as the jet stream will continue to be positioned north of southwestern Kansas.

Light winds and clear skies will contribute to a beautiful weather day as temperatures reach the mid to upper 70s. Tranquil weather is expected through the upcoming weekend and into early next week.

A couple of cold fronts are expected… one Sunday and another reinforcing shot of cool, Canadian air Tuesday. At this time, it appears that neither of these fronts will provide any precipitation across the area.
