Another tranquil weather day, with seasonable temperatures, is expected once again across West/SW Kansas.

A weak cold front pushing slowly south will only shave a few degrees off of yesterday’s temperatures with northeast winds ranging between 10 and 20 mph through the day.

In the extended forecast… A cold front Sunday will provide another cool-down followed by a stronger front late Monday or Monday Night. A very cool airmass is expected to encompass the western plains mid-next week with some of the coolest temperatures so far this Autumn expected Wednesday morning.
