Light winds and clear skies will allow the atmosphere to cool very efficiently over the next couple of nights.
As the air over the region is already relatively cool, temperatures will potentially fall to as cold as the mid 20s by early Thursday morning for most of the eastern and northern portions of the area.
As a result a freeze watch has been issued for Wednesday night and early Thursday, as air that cold kill tender vegetation. even tonight, temperatures will get cold enough to create frost with lows near freezing across a large portion of the area.
