Governor Sam Brownback plans to release a tax plan before the end of the year. House Minority Leader Paul Davis, during a visit to Hays, said he’s concerned that if the plan cuts income taxes, then the revenue will have to be made up elsewhere to continue to provide services, such as property tax or sales tax.

Davis says when talking about tax policy, there needs to be an honest discussion about sales tax exemptions and tax credits.
