Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that matches at-risk youth with volunteer mentors who help these children realize their potential and build their future. Currently, Ellis County Big Brothers Big Sisters has over 65 “littles” that need to be matched with caring, volunteer mentors.
Youth that participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program have shown improved grades and better attendance in school, increased self-confidence, better relationships at home, more positive attitudes, less drugs/alcohol use, and a decrease in violent behavior.
