Surface high pressure will slide across the central Plains today.
Temperatures will be cooler than yesterday but still near normal for this time of year. A few cirrus clouds are expected this morning and then skies will be clear by tonight.
Warmer temperatures are expected Wednesday before plunging Thursday as a strong cold front moves across the state. Light snow is possible with this front mainly west of Dodge City.
A better chance for rain and snow area wide is expected by next weekend.
