Vintage carriage rides through historic downtown Hays kicked off  Thursday night as part of Frost Fest 2011.

The Michael and Emily Reif family with their Sunflower Clydesdales provide the trip along the brick roads of the Chestnut Street District each Thursday evening from 7 to 9 during December.

The carriage rides are free.
