Members of the Hays Recreation Commission met jointly with the Hays City Commission Thursday to discuss operations mainly of the sports complex and aquatic park. Through an agreement with the city, the pool’s yearly deficit is split between the two entities. Parks Director Jeff Boyle says due to the weather, the aquatic park had a good year and a low deficit.

A website has been launched for the sports complex with games and tournaments already scheduled through the spring and summer.
