As a cold front continues to move south through the western plains today…light snow will develop and spread south across west-central and southwest Kansas.
The snow will be light in intensity, and only an inch or two of snow is expected generally west of a Meade to Dodge City to Hays line. East of that line, only a few tenths of an inch of snowfall will likely accumulate.
In areas that receive an inch or more of snow, some light blowing snow will aid in reducing visibility at times, especially over open areas, as north to northeast winds average 20 to 25 mph today.
Today: Snow likely, mainly before 8am. Cloudy, with a high near 32. Breezy, with a north northeast wind between 16 and 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
