Increasing the number of high school students who are career or college ready when they graduate is a goal of Governor Sam Brownback’s Road Map for Kansas. During a career readiness summit Wednesday, Brownback descibed the metric, or way to measure this goal.

Brownback wants more high school sudents to earn technical education credits. He proposed financial incentives to high schools that encourage students to get industry recognized credentials.
