Sunny But Cold Today

A cold front will quickly cross southwest Kansas early this morning.

Behind this cold front the afternoon temperatures are expected to average 10 to 20 degrees cooler today compared to the highs yesterday. This cold air will begin to gradually erode from west to east on Friday but a reinforcement of colder air Friday night will result in keeping highs across north central and much of south central Kansas in the mid to upper 30s through the start of the weekend period.

Further west more seasonal temperatures are anticipated late week with highs near the Colorado border expected to rebound back into the mid to upper 50s.
