After a year and a half, the Ellis County K-State Extension Office is back up to four agents again. Family and Consumer Sciences agent Linda Beech joins the staff, replacing Carla Morrical-Frederking who retired in June 2010.
Beech comes to Hays from the same position in Finney County, and previously was the FACS agent in Stevens and Hodgeman Counties. She was named the 2006 Kansas Extension Communicator of the Year.
Beech holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University College of Human Ecology with a double major in foods and nutrition and consumer economics.
The public is invited to a “Meet and Greet” with Beech Monday, January 30, from noon to 1p.m. in the Ellis County Extension Meeting Room.
