Mary Louise Dreiling
Victoria, Kansas – Mary Louise Dreiling, age 82, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at her daughter’s home in Selden, Kansas.
She was born September 9, 1929, at Vincent, Kansas, to Frank G. and Angela (Weigel) VonFeldt. She married Herbert F. “Herb” Dreiling on April 25, 1949, at Vincent, Kansas. He died May 5, 2001.
She was a homemaker, farmers wife, she was a cook at the Main Street Café in Victoria and spent her lifetime in Victoria, Kansas. She was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, Kansas, and she moved to her daughter’s in Selden, Kansas, 11 months ago.
Survivors include four daughters, Susie Windholz and husband, Julius, Victoria, KS; Betty Brungardt, Hays, KS; Theresa “Teri” Brantley and husband, David, Selden, KS; Patty Rohr and husband, Roger, Hays, KS; and daughter-in-law Kathy Dreiling-Amrein and husband, Allan, Hays, KS; three brothers, Art VonFeldt and wife Joan, Victoria, Ks; Leo VonFeldt and wife Dorothy, Palco, KS; Karl VonFeldt and wife Sue, Topeka, KS; two sisters, Winifreda “Winnie” Beckwith, Canyonville, OR; Charlotte Sanders, Wichita, KS; nine grandchildren, Holly Dreiling; Hannah Dreiling; Ken Windholz and wife, Jill; Chris Windholz and wife, Kristy; John Windholz and wife, Dani; Dan Windholz and wife, Pip; Ryan Brantley; Tracy Helget and husband Jake; Shelby Rohr; seven step-grandchildren, Kaylene Balint; Eddie F. Brungardt; Karen Wellbrock and husband Chris; Walter Brantley and wife Sara; Bobbie Brantley; Rohn Brantley; Jarrod Brantley; nine great grandchildren, Jaxson Windholz, Cooper Windholz, Kinley Windholz, Maggie Windholz, Nate Windholz, Jace Windholz, Sam Windholz, Bria Windholz, Molly Helget; six
step-great grandchildren, Erika Balint, Ciara Wellbrock, Kyle Wellbrock, Katelyn Wellbrock, Alisha Brantley and Ava Brantley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Johnny Dreiling and Frank H. Dreiling; one son-in-law, Edward D. “Eddie” Brungardt; three sisters, Isabella Standley, Alma Sherlock and Mable Hays.
Services are 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 28, 2012, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, Kansas. Burial in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kansas. A vigil service is at 7:00 P.M. Friday at Cline’s Mortuary 412 Main Victoria, Kansas 67671. Visitation is from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Friday and 8:30 to 9:45 A.M. Saturday all at Cline’s Mortuary Victoria, Kansas.
