I was watching the news this morning and heard a story about the state and federal government possibly allowing illegal immigrants to work legally in this country if it was a certain job.

Am I missing something here? I brought this up to some other people, some of the responses were the typical “nobody else wants to do those jobs”.

The problem with this country is simply this. It is FILLED, to the brim, with lazy people. Wichita, for example, is about to have a whole slew of unemployed union workers. This is a direct result of the unions’ and workers, acting like children who think they never get enough dessert after supper when they acted poorly the entire day leading up to it. Now, instead of looking for ANY possible way to EARN a living and pulling their fair weight, I’ll assume that most(not all) will be living off unemployment benefits until they run out.

So I have a solution, many(especially those on welfare and state assistance) won’t like it, but it is a solution to this problem.

Abolish welfare and food stamps.

Send these people job applications to the places where the workers are NEEDED and give them a choice. Work and get paid to work and you can receive some sort of assistance to help you along, so long as you can prove that you’re not trying to live outside of your means. I’m even willing to support the appropriation of federal\state funds to help with moving costs and initial settling in expenses.

Option 2. Be homeless and destitute. Possibly losing your own citizenship to be given to somebody who is willing to contribute to society in a positive manor. This second option seems a little “Stalinesque” and maybe even brutish, but just imagine if it were implemented? You want to lower the jobless rates, throw a few people out to live in France or whoever will tolerate them, and watch the turn around. The government wants to have their noses in all of our other affairs, why not.

I have always been a firm believer in helping others who are willing to help themselves. I don’t have many problems with the hispanic race as a whole, but a few bad apples certainly can ruin the bunch. If you are willing to work, then get the Visa, work the job, learn the language and obey the laws. This country was founded by hard workers and can only be MAINTAINED by hard workers. Not a few hard workers and a bunch of slackers.

I know this rant will catch some flack, but just do some research yourself on how much of your tax dollars are spent on people who’d rather watch you go to work rather than go themselves. Also imagine how fast they’d be out looking for a job after receiving a letter stating the options listed above.
