The Hays school district will continue as a member of Schools for Fair Funding and will pay an additional assessment to fund the current lawsuit to put an end to funding cuts and adequately fund the current formula. Superintendent Will Roth says the organization has benefited the district for over 10 years.

Fifty-five school districts representing 33 percent of the students in the state have joined Schools for Fair Funding.
