Two area construction projects are scheduled to begin Monday.

In Norton County, a section of US 36 will be reconstructed from the east city limits of Norton to the K 383 Junction. The project will include extending or replacing drainage structures, reconstructing a box bridge, improving the shoulders and laying a new roadway. The work is scheduled for completion next January.

In Graham County, a bridge over the south fork of theSolomonRiverwill be reconstructed. This project will include a temporary bridge and detour. The project is not expected to be done until June of 2013.
