Light rain will move out of the Hays, Larned and Medicine Lodge areas early this morning. Some areas of fog will persist for a few hours this morning before thinning out after 10 am.
There will be a chance for thunderstorms redeveloping over far western Kansas this afternoon. A few of the storms will be capable of producing golf ball size or larger hail along with damaging winds. An isolated tornado will also be possible. These thunderstorms will gradually spread east toward central Kansas this evening and then move into eastern Kansas later tonight.
