Five non-profit organizations have been awarded grants from the Heartland Community Foundation.

The grants range from $400 to $800 and will support activities at the Rooks County Health Center, the First Care Clinic, Hays Public Library, Northwest Kansas Area Agency on Aging and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The five were chosen from 30 applications. The grants are awarded annually.
