The USD 489 Board of Education reviewed the first draft of the Fiscal Year 2013 Capital Outlay Expenditure project list Monday night. Deputy Superintendent Richard Cain says this is an unusual year, in that, each of the building requests are included.

Cain says the plan leaves $200,000 for emergency expenditures, such as the replacement of a boiler, and $200,000 in carryover.

The board will discuss the plan again at the next work session.
