At public auction Tuesday morning, the Fox Pavilion in downtown Hays was sold to First National Bank for $430,000. That was the only bid.

The bank filed to foreclose on the property in January after no payments had been made since September 2010. The property owner, Brooks Kellogg is serving a six year prison sentence.

First National Bank President Allan Schaper says the bank intends to sell the Fox.
