After each earned All-MIAA First Team honors for the 2012 season, Ryan Busboom and Brett Macari have been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-South Central Region Team. Busboom is a first-team selection in the outfield, while Macari is a second-team selection at relief pitcher.

Busboom finished the year with a .386 batting average and was the top offensive producer in several categories in the MIAA. He finished with 16 home runs, 66 RBI, 17 doubles, 78 hits, a .718 slugging percentage, 145 total bases, and 50 runs scored. Entering the MIAA Tournament, he led the MIAA in home runs, RBI, slugging percentage, hits, and total bases, and ranked fourth in batting average. He was a unanimous All-MIAA First Team selection by the conference coaches.

Macari finished the year with a 1.20 ERA and 5-1 record with eight saves. He logged 30.0 innings out of the bullpen this year, making 19 appearances. He closed out all 19 games he appeared in and allowed just a .181 batting average to opponents and 0.80 walks and hits per innings pitched. He struck out 27 batters for the season. Entering the MIAA Tournament last week, Macari was tops among the MIAA saves leaders in ERA, WHIP, and opponent batting average.
