The “Honoring Our History” traveling World War I exhibit will be in Hays this weekend. The event is coordinated by Waddell and Reed, and financial advisor Jim Huenergarde says the exhibit features a variety of artifacts from the company’s founders who both served in the war and other items from the museum in Kansas City.
An opening ceremony will be held Friday morning at ten, and the exhibit will be open until five and again from 8am to 8pm on Saturday. It will be in front of the Ellis County Historical Society Museum. Admission is free, but donations will be used to support the national museum and the historical society.
