The Hays High softball team is the No. 3 seed for the 5A state softball tournament and will play Topeka-Seaman (19-3) in their quarterfinal game at 7pm. St. Thomas Aquinas (21-1) is the tournament’s No. 1 seed.

The 5A state tournament is May 25-26 at the Two Rivers Youth Complex in Wichita.
