
Fort Hays State ranked seventh nationally for attendance in NCAA Division II for the 2011-12 season, averaging 2,370 fans per game. This continues Fort Hays State’s string of three consecutive years being ranked in the Top 10 nationally for attendance in NCAA Division II. The Tigers also led the MIAA in attendance, just ahead of Washburn, which ranked eighth nationally.
The Tigers were among seven MIAA schools in the top 30 nationally in attendance. Fort Hays State helped the MIAA lead the nation once again in attendance as a conference. The conference averaged 1,635 fans per game.
