Meal prices are going up for USD 489 students. The Hays school board Monday night agreed to a ten cent increase. Assistant Superintendent Richard Cain says the Food Services Director requested the increase to meet rising expenses of food and health insurance.

The price increase for adult meals is yet to be set.
