The Trego boys golf team finishes second at the 2A state tournament at Spring Creek in Seneca. The Golden Eagles shoot a 326 and were four shots back of Ellsworth. Ellis finished fifth with a 335. Blake Huxman led Trego with a 78 and tied for 11th. Brad Pfannenstiel was one shot back and tied for 13th. Cameron Staples tied for 19th with an 82. Ellis was led by Austin Lopez and Skyler Tebo who both shot a 76 and finish eighth and ninth respectively.

Stockton’s Koby Beougher finishes second at the 1A state tournament at Highlands Ranch in Hutchinson with an 84, four shots off the pace. Quinter’s Ryan Tebow tied for 13th with a 95. Osborne finished 10th and Stockton 11th. The Bulldogs shoot a 475 and Tigers a 511.

LaCrosse’s Tanner Yohe tied for 11th with a 79 and Tyson Pivonka finished 14th with an 80 at the Sand Green Championships in Mankato. LaCrosse finished fourth, ten shots behind third place Tipton and 45 behind first place Rock Hills.
