Warmer And Windy Today

A lee side trough of low pressure will strengthen across extreme eastern Colorado today resulting in strong southerly winds developing across south central and southwest Kansas by early afternoon.

Warmer temperatures are expected today with highs up into the upper 80s across central Kansas to the 90s across southwest Kansas. Lows tonight will only fall into the 60s.

Today: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Windy, with a south wind 14 to 17 mph increasing to between 26 and 29 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 65. Windy, with a south wind between 22 and 28 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 92. South wind around 17 mph.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 62. Breezy, with a southwest wind between 18 and 21 mph.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. North northwest wind between 7 and 15 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a low around 69.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and windy, with a high near 92.
