The USD 489 Board of Education looked to the future Monday night as they discussed enrollment projections. Superintendent Will Roth says enrollment is expected to increase each year and be over 3,000 for the 2016-2017 school year.

The district uses live birth statistics to predict enrollment trends for the next five years.
