A man was thrown from his motorcycle Monday afternoon after colliding with a deer in Norton County. The Highway Patrol says the accident happened on K383 about three miles northeast of Almena around4pm.

The Wisconsin man, 21-year-old Kevin Kelly, was ejected off the bike and landed against a guardrail. He was taken to the Norton County Hospital.
