Governor Sam Brownback has appointed aNessCityman to the Kansas Board of Indigent Defense Services. Paul Beck currently serves as a Ness County Commissioner.

The State Board of Indigent Defense Services provides constitutionally and statutorily required counsel and related services for each indigent person accused of a felony. Beck has been appointed to a three-year term.
