After a special meeting Monday night, fireworks will be allowed in Ellis. The city council did not take any action to ban the discharge or sales of fireworks during the 4^th of July holiday.

Fireworks can be sold in Ellis from June 27^th to July 5^th, and discharged on July 3^rd and 5^th from noon to 10pm. On July 4^th, fireworks are allowed from 8am to midnight.

In Victoria, fireworks can be discharged on July 4th only from 8am to midnight.
