Hays Police and the Hays Fire Department reponded to a fire at Colonial Gardens in the 700 block of East 6th Street around 12:47 pm, Wednesday.

Crews were able to contain the fire upon arrival.

Few details have been released, but officials say the fire is being investigated as an arson.
