The Hays Police Department conducted 32 traffic stops on Friday and responded to six animal calls, according to the Hays Police Activity Log.
Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated a pair of general thefts cases on Friday. The first case was reported in the 1100 block of Country Club Drive and occurred between the morning of June 13th and July 13th. The second report took place Friday afternoon in the 200 block of West 6th Street. Hays PD also investigated counterfeit currency/documents in the 1100 block of East 27th Street at Golden Belt Bank. The incident was reported to have happened between Thursday morning and Friday afternoon.
Vehicle Accidents: Hays PD responded to two motor vehicle accidents on Friday morning. One accident was reported at 33rd Street and Fort Street. There was also a report of a motor vehicle accident involving private property in the 1900 block of Vine Street, at Dillons just after 10:30.
Disturbance: Officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the 800 block of Ash Street, at the Golden Q. Officers also investigated a fight and disorderly conduct in connection with the disturbance call.
