Four new volunteer board members have joined the Heartland Community Foundation.

They are:  Hays attorney Kaylene Brin; Larry Dietz, President of TWI & Dietz of WaKeeney; Bank of Hays Sr. Vice President Brandon Prough; and Shae Veach, Vice President for Development at Hays Medical Center.

Current volunteer board members are: Mendi Alexander, HCF  chair, Hays; Mike Koerner, vice chair, Hays; Tammy McClellan, secretary, Palco;  Steve Baumrucker, treasurer, Hays, and Doug Greer, Don Hoffman, Ida Lundy,  Bob Muirhead, (Alexander), and Andrew Rupp, all from Hays, and Tom Kreutzer of WaKeeney.

Bob Lowen, Hays, is the foundation’s director.

Funded in 2007, Heartland Community Foundation is a charitable, not-for-profit organization serving Rooks, Trego and Ellis counties.  It’s one of 10 foundations affiliated with the Greater Salina Community Foundation.
