The Hays Police Department arrested four men, two from Hays, in connection with a fight in the 3600 block of Vine, outside of the Ramada Inn and Stadium Club Bar and Grill on Saturday.

According to the Hays Police Department arrest log, Daniel Floyd Balman, 22, of Hays, Jeffery Scott Balman, 27, of Dodge City and Preston Wayne Nelson, 21, of Parrish Florida were arrested for aggravated battery on Saturday.

Early Saturday the Hays Police Department received a call about a disturbance, in connection with a fight that happened outside of the Stadium Club Bar and Grill in the 3600 block of Vine Street, between 12:45 and 1:00am.

According to Brian Dawson with the Hays Police Department, when officers arrived they encountered two victims and began interviewing five suspects in connection with the confrontation. After concluding their investigation into the alleged incident officers arrested the three individuals.

While the officers were conducting their investigation 42-year old Kirk James Degenhardt was arrested for disorderly conduct, fighting words or noisy conduct to cause resentment.
