The Ellis County Commission Monday night approved publishing the 2013 budget. The total expenditures equal $22.46 million before transfers with a mill levy of 35.663, which is a 1.27 mill increase over 2012. County Administrator Greg Sund says the budget includes money set aside for road and bridge projects.

The budget includes a 2.5% pay raise for employees.

The public hearing for the budget will be August 20^th during the regular commission meeting.
