The Hays Police Department conducted 21 traffic stops and responded to four animal calls on Monday, according to the Hays Police Department Activity Log.
Rape: The Hays Police Department began investigating an alleged rape Monday in the 700 block of West 7th Street.
- This incident is still under investigation but a spokesman with the Hays PD said there is no suspect at large
Theft: Officers began an investigation into the theft of a vehicle in the 4200 block of Vine Street. The allege theft occurred between Friday evening around 8:30 and Monday morning at eight o’clock.
Damage to Property: Officers received a report of damage to property in the 100 block of East 13th Street. The alleged damage occurred between 9:00am and 12:30 Monday afternoon.
Domestic Disturbance: The Hays Police Department responded to a report a domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of Donald Drive Monday evening just after 10 o’clock.
Suicidal Subject: The Hays PD received a report of a suicidal subject in the 500 block of Walnut Street Monday evening just before eight o’clock Monday evening.
Water Violation: According to the Hays Police Activity Log there were two reports of water use violation Monday afternoon. The first was reported in the 2900 block of Willow Street just after 1:30 Monday afternoon and the second was in the 400 block of Oak Street.
