One Injured After Hitting Deer On I-70 In Russell County

A Russell man was injured after hitting a deer on I-70, 1.5 miles east of the Bunker Hill exit, shortly after 9PM Friday.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Dalton C. Davis was westbound on I-70 when a deer came out of the north ditch into the roadway.

Davis reportedly had minor injuries and drove himself to the hospital.
