Hays High had 75 kids check out equipment for the first day of football practice.  Coming off a 9-2 season and their first playoff appearance since the mid 90’s Hays High expects to win games regardless of who is on the field.  One of the biggest challenges facing Hays High is replacing all but on of the offensive lineman, as Cade Sharp is the only returning lineman.  Leading tackler Kyler Meyers is back after a 100 tackle season and Hays also returns the Western Athletic Conference player of the year David Cardinal.
