A dump-truck driver was ejected when his truck rolled on K-8 in Smith County Sunday night.

The Highway Patrol says the truck was northbound about ten miles north of Highway 36 when it left the road and went into the east ditch. The driver overcorrected and the truck went into the west ditch and rolled.

The driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from the truck. The Texas man was taken to the hospital in Franklin, Nebraska.
