The Hays Police Department conducted 10 traffic stops and received three animal calls on Tuesday, according to the Hays Police Activity Log.
Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated two reports of theft on Tuesday. The first incident was reported in the 4300 block of Vine Street. Officers investigated a shoplifting case that occurred between 2:00 and 3:00AM. Officers also investigated a report burglary of a residence in the 2800 block of Augusta Lane between 1:00 and 5:20PM Tuesday.
Drug Offenses: Officers investigated one drug related offense Tuesday afternoon in the 400 block of Milner Street at 1:55PM.
DUI: Hays Police officers conducted one driving under the influence stop on Tuesday. The stop was conducted just after 3:00 in the 300 block of East 8th Street.
Water Violations: There were two reports of water use violations on Tuesday afternoon. The first was in the 200 block of West 23rd just after 1:00PM and the second was reported in the 3200 block of Country Lane Tuesday at 3:16PM.
