Fireworks sales dates will match the dates of use next year in the City of Hays. The commission voted Thursday night to change the dates of sale to July 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Commissioner Henry Schwaller says this will cut down several days of sales when it is illegal to shoot them off.
Under the ordinance the commission will discuss in late May the weather conditions and whether or not to allow fireworks.
