TMP football suffered their first loss of the season Friday night against Clay Center.  The Tigers controlled the game from the opening kickoff, forcing TMP 3 and out on the Monarchs’ first possession and then scoring 3 plays later, leading 6-0.  Two minutes later, the Tigers were on the board again and lead 12-0.

TMP trailed 26-0 before they cracked the scoreboard on a 65 yard touchdown pass from Shane Zimmerman to Anthony Walters. It would be the only score of the game for TMP, losing 28-7. After racking up nearly 500 yards of total offense a week ago, TMP managed only 139 yards against Clay Center and did not pick up a first down the entire game.

TMP hits the road for the first time next Friday Night to take on Larned.
